People from the Netherlands (and all other visitors travelling from abroad) may use their Rock Werchter ticket to travel free of charge from the first Belgian train station. It is still necessary to buy an international train ticket to and from this first Belgian train station. As concerns De Lijn: festival tickets are valid only on special festival buses from/to Leuven Station to/from Werchter, not on other lines. This offer is valid from Thursday morning 3 July through Monday 7 July.
Camp-site tickets
Just like previous years, a camp-site ticket needs to be purchased in order to stay at one of the festival's camping facilities. Camp-site tickets cost 17 Euros (booking/shipping cost not included), regardless of the length of your stay. Camp sites will be open from Thursday 3 July till Monday 7 July in the afternoon. Please bear in mind that Werchter's camping facilities will not be open on Wednesday evening. So there is no way for visitors to pitch their tents that evening!
Rock Werchters' camping facilities are run by local associations and not by the festival organisers. The whole is co-ordinated by the local authorities of Haacht and Rotselaar. They establish the rules with regard to pricing, opening hours, the number of toilets, wrist bands, lighting, fire lanes, cleaning...

E-FESTIVAL TICKETS

As from this year, Rock Werchter festival tickets are available in the shape of an e-festival ticket through Proximus Go For Music and Teleticketservice. Just select the option 'e-ticket' when ordering. After payment of the e-festival ticket, the buyer receives a pdf file which can be printed at home. The system uses a unique bar code which is different for every ticket. At the entrance, e-festival tickets are scanned, just like any other ticket, in order to check their validity. Very convenient and the ticket buyer saves on shipping and handling costs!
Important: e-festivaltickets are not valid for use on trains and buses as such. Each e-festival ticket does entitle its holder to one free E-TRAIN TICKET (available as from 3 June from www.nmbs.be/rockwerchter by using the NMBS code mentioned on your e-festival ticket.
