Colmar, Francia - 2008-08-15. De todo un poco

Del concierto de Colma de hace un par de días me está llegado un aluvión de información que te voy a pasar del tirón, para que luego no digas.

Sí, no se ha equivocado. See Change ha sido tocada dos veces. Ya sabes como es el Tío Neil, si a él se le antoja... Y esa noche, con luna prácticamente llena, estaba de buen humor.
También regaló al público de esa noche un tema nuevo. ¡No! no te asustes, relativamente nuevo. Ha sido el "Wrecking Ball" de 1995. Nuevo en este Tour. Si te apetece escucharlo (en versión mp3), lo tienes en la web de Johnny "The Song Dog".

Aunque yo te recomiendo mejor una versión sin pérdida, precisamente The Dutch Master acaba de colgar su propia grabación en Dime A Dozen (diferente a la de Uli de ayer), y ya sabe que los trabajos de Dutch tienen calidad:

Editing: removal of some clapping next to me and an overall volume boost. (with extra boost on the acoustic songs)

Recorded in front of stage just left of the centre. (stage sound )
Sound is excellent. (so is the recording!)
The sound at my position was far from good. On some songs there is not a good balance between vocals and music.
XP also made a recording taking the sound from the left hand speaker stack. His recording will be available in a few weeks time as he left after the shows for his holidays.
Artwork is included
Starting as a show with a far from exciting setlist; almost 'a best of...'.
All this changed with Neil at the Grand piano playing Wrecking Ball. Certainly one of the highlights of the evening.
My personal favourite of the evening is the song I have been waiting for, for years: the Electric version of Cowgirl In The Sand!
Neil in a good mood: It was a full moon evening.
