Built in 1913, W.N. Ragland is a two-masted, gaff-rigged schooner owned by Young for more than 35 years. Originally built of oak and used to haul granite, Ragland is outfitted with a railroad car full of mahogany in her hull. The ship features solid teak decks and deck structures up to four inches thick. Her standing rigging is all stainless steel. Yacht braid rope is used for her running rigging and lines, as opposed to the more common triple-strand line.

Ya sea porque la crisis afecta a todos o porque la edad ya te hace menos aventurero, el caso es que tan solo hace unas semanas te hablé aquí sobre la venta del Mayan, el barco de Crosby y ahora le toca el turno al Tío Neil. El Rangland, su viejo velero de madera de roble, ha sido puesto a la venta por una cantidad más que respetable.
A mí, este año me viene mal, pero no me hubiera importado hacerme con él para dar vueltas por mi bahía en compañía de cualquier rusty que se pase por aquí.
